About me
I am Lincoln based artist that loves to travel around the most dramatic, wild and beautiful parts of the UK with my trusty sketchbooks. My favorite places include; around the Wash, the Lincolnshire Wolds, the southwest coastline (especially Cornwall), and many other places. My finished pieces then evolve from a mixture of my sketches, memory and a little imagination!
My works are usually on paper, using an array of different media, including; wax, watercolours, gouache, charcoal, inks, soft pastels, acrylics, oil pastels and anything else which will bring my paintings to life. I build up layers and then scrape back through to reveal the layers beneath.
